There are times that you can"t believe at first what you are reading.
I read that Lianka Azulay, the founder and creative mind of Bonita Patterns had suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. Mother of Asher, wife of Will, and daughter of Rachel, sister of Luanna. At the far too young age of 50. And today is the final farewell for her family and friends.
Even some time before she became mother of Asher I allready admired all of her crochet patterns and bought and made all of them. An e-book with patterns. Crocodile stitches. I made the baby booties, dozens of baby hats. And afterwards many embossed scarves, shawls, wraps, pillows.
She was so talented and unique. One of a kind.
So, eventhough she lives on the other side of the planet, I am very saddened by her passing and feel for her family and friends.
She took me with her on her passion for crochet. To not crochet the obvious items, but the intricate ones. I thank her for that.
These are some of the items I made with her patterns. Except fot the first one.The clutch. She inspired me to make this to wear at my daughters weddingday.
