Zondagse hoed ~ Church hat

Deze week heb ik weer een patroon van Lenore Berry-Zagarosa gekregen om te corrigeren en/of aan te vullen. Dit is één van mijn favorieten. Zij noemt het the Church Hat, dus vrij vertaald: de zondagse hoed. Ik vind het resultaat echt geweldig! Voor degenen die deze muts/hoed ook willen maken: zij zal nog het één en ander aan foto's en een video toevoegen en dan komt dit patroon on-line te koop op haar etsy shop.

I finished another of Lenore Berry-Zaragosa's new patterns this week. This is one of my favorites. Lenore calls it the Church Hat (freely translated in Dutch: the Sunday Hat). I think the result is fantastic! 
For those of you who want to make this hat: after she has added some pictures and a video it will be on-line for sale on her etsy shop. 
I added the pictures of the ones I've made. I hope you like it.

Baby laarsjes met lussen ~ Loopy baby booties

Deze laarsjes vond ik zó schattig, die moest ik maken. Helemaal leuk, omdat ik de lussen-steek (loop-stitch) nog niet kende. Ik had eerst een patroon gekocht, maar ik kwam er niet echt uit. Van een bevriende mede-haakster, kreeg ik een gratis patroon dat ze zelf gemaakt heeft. Dat ging helemaal goed ! De lussen-steek is erg onhandig om te leren. Het duurt even voordat je de "slag" te pakken hebt. Maar het resultaat is fantastisch. Met dikke wol kun je zo bijvoorbeeld ook een (badkamer-) kleedje haken.

I simply had to make these booties. They look só cute ! Even more nice because I did not know how to make the loop stitch untill now. I bought a pattern at first, but I came up with the wrong number of stitches. What did I do wrong ? A crochetfriend however, gave me a free pattern, she made herself. And that worked out perfectly ! 
To get to learn the loop-stitch you feel very clumsy at first. It takes a while before you get the hang of it. But the result is fantastic ! With thick wool you could even make your own (bathroom-) rug.

Europees kampioenschap voetbal ~ European football championship

Het duurt niet lang meer ...... de koorts stijgt. Ik kan niet achterblijven, dus een petje gemaakt in onze nationale driekleur en natuurlijk oranje. Ik denk dat mijn zoon er wel blij mee zal zijn ;- )

It's almost time ...... the feaver is rising. I can't keep ignoring it, so I made a cap in our national three colors, including orange, the color of our royal family. I think my son will like this ;- )

* Queensday: every year on April 30  we celebrate the birthday of our queen. It's a national  holiday.

Via de site van HandySandy vond ik een link naar ShabbyBlogs, waar diverse gratis buttons en headers op staan. Ook hoe je de verdwijnende bovenwerkbalk maakt, heb ik daar gevonden. Met de tutorials heb je alles zó gemaakt.

Herenpet ~ Men's cap

Na een poosje speuren heb ik het patroon van een herenpet gevonden dat ik zocht.
Wat is internet toch een prachtig medium. 
Ik ben nu wat aan het experimenteren met verschillende wol en maten haaknaald.
Onderstaande foto's zijn het resultaat tot nu toe.

After a search I found the pattern for the cap I was looking for. The internet is such a great source of information.
Now I'm experimenting with different yarns and hooksizes.
