Gave pet met knoopjes - Visor Hat

Pas kreeg ik het verzoek om deze pet te maken, maar dan in 100% rode wol.
De klant woont toevallig vrij dichtbij Hoorn, dus kon zij bij Schouten gaan kijken naar de
Lana Grossa Bingo die ik adviseerde. Heerlijk zachte merino-wol.
Zij koos voor de kleur 020 en Wilbert Schouten stuurde voor haar de wol naar mij op.

Recently I got the request to make the visor hat in 100% wool.

Accidently the customer lives close by Hoorn, so she could have a look for herself

at Schouten. I advised the Lana Grossa Bingo. Lovely soft merino wool.

She chose colourway 020 and Wilbert Schouten sent her wool to me.

Ik had net genoeg aan 4 bollen. Het was even spannend. 
De pet wordt gehaakt met dubbele draad en haak 6mm.

Four skeins were just about enough. 

The hat is made with a double thread and hooksize J - 6mm.

De laatste toer kreeftensteek deed ik met haak 5mm.

De draadjes wegwerken en dan nog de metalen knoopjes er op. 

Deze hebben een oogje aan de onderkant. Mooi uit het zicht.

The last row in crabstitch I did with hooksize H - 5mm.

Worked in the ends and attatched the metal buttons. 

The eye is on the bottom of the button, nicely out of sight.

Opening webshop

I feel so ashamed ... it's been totally quiet on my blog for far too long.
But sometimes that's for a reason. 
In the first 5 months, my husband and I had to focus on his best friend, who was dying because of a braintumor. 
At the same time, I was teaching crochet at a secondary school. That took a lot of my time and energy too. 
But I had also planned to open up a webshop. 
So you see, I wasn't exactly realaxing this year ... but I am sorry for keeping so long.
But I'm back now :D  yeah !

Ik schaam me echt rot ... het is veel te lang stil geweest op mijn blog.
Maar dat heeft zijn reden.
In de eerste vijf maanden van dit jaar hebben mijn man en ik zoveel mogelijk tijd besteed aan zijn beste vriend, die stervende was vanwege een hersentumor.
Tegelijkertijd gaf ik haakles op een gymnasium. En ook dat vroeg een hoop van mijn tijd en energie.
Maar ik had ook nog gepland om een webshop te openen.
Zoals je ziet, was ik dit jaar niet echt aan het luieren ... maar bied wel mijn excuses aan voor het zo lang wegblijven.
Maar nu ben ik er weer :D  jeuj !
